KadiePost

Check a news story

Paste a link or a text and KadiePost tells you, fact by fact, what other sources confirm and what they do not.

How it works

  1. The figures, dates, names and quotes are pulled from the text — or from the screenshot.
  2. Each one is looked up in other outlets, and every domain is identified against a catalogue of hundreds of sources.
  3. Each fact is marked according to whether other sources confirm it, only the original outlet reports it, or there is disagreement.

The verdict is computed by a program, not by a language model: the sources confirming each fact are counted against those contradicting it. The only text written by a model is the prose summary, and it is labelled as such.

No identifier of the person checking is stored: no IP, no session. A screenshot image is discarded as soon as it is transcribed.
