What data is collected when you visit, what for, and how long it lasts.
There is no mandatory sign-up, no subscription forms and no advertising profiles. You can read the entire site without identifying yourself.
Your IP address is used to limit requests per minute, block repeated attempts to reach the admin panel, and prevent a single visit from being counted several times in advertising metrics. For those purposes it is stored temporarily and deleted automatically after minutes or hours.
If you sign in, your IP is recorded alongside your actions in a security log, so that improper access can be detected.
The site shows Google AdSense advertising. To serve it, your browser loads a Google script and connects to Google servers, which may set cookies and collect data about your browsing —including your IP address and the pages you visit here— in order to choose which advert to show you and measure its performance. That processing is carried out by Google under its own rules, not by KadiePost: you can review and configure it on Google privacy and ad settings pages.
Apart from advertising, the site does not use Google Analytics or any equivalent measurement system, and embeds no social network tracking pixels. Fonts are served from this domain.
The content security policy remains restrictive: only code served from this domain may run, plus the fragment embedded in the page itself that applies the light or dark theme —allowed by its cryptographic hash— and the individually named Google domains that the advertising requires. No other third party can execute anything here.
For registered accounts, the name, email address and an encrypted password are stored. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of that data through the contact form.
The contact form stores the name, subject and message you write, together with your IP address and the date it was sent. Your email address is stored only if you choose to provide it: the field is optional and you can write to us without it.
These messages are read from the editorial panel and are not sent to any external service. They are kept for as long as they are useful for dealing with what you raised, and you may request their deletion through the same form.
Every check run at /comprobar is stored: the text or link you submit, what was extracted from it, the searches that were run, the sources that came back and the result. It is stored so that a response can be audited afterwards —to know why the checker said what it said— and to spot faults in the system itself.
No data that identifies you is stored: not your IP address, not a session, not a browser fingerprint. The history cannot tell who requested a check, only what was checked and with what result.
If you submit a screenshot, the image is not kept: its text is transcribed and the image is discarded. What is stored is the transcription.
Checks are deleted automatically after 90 days.
